Consultations

I offer one to one consultations which are carried out in your own home and last for between 2-4 hours. Following the consultation life-long telephone support will be provided as required.

In the consultation you will learn about:

• The pack dynamics of canines and how this relates to your home situation

  This involves understanding the pack structure of groups of canines living together, and why this is important both within the pack and in relation to other packs. This enables us to understand how a dog living with humans will be looking at the human:dog 'pack' that s/he is a member of.



• The 4 key elements of Amichien® Bonding

  Canines use communication around 4 key areas essential to their survival to establish the structure of canine packs and the relationships between the pack members. These areas are those of food, hunting, status and perceived danger. In the consultation you will learn how canines behave in relation to these key areas and what their behaviour means.

• How to implement the method of Amichien® Bonding

  Amichien® Bonding is based upon how we communicate and send messages to our dogs in relation to the 4 key areas described above. When communications in all 4 areas give the appropriate messages to dogs they will feel safe and secure and behave accordingly.

• How to use Amichien® Bonding to address problem behaviours

  

  The most important aspect of addressing problem behaviours is for appropriate communication to be established in the 4 key areas. Guidance will also be given on how to extend and enhance communication in respect of any specific problem behaviours that your dog may display.
